ITINERARY
Friday, October 23rd
Breakfast is on your own...
9:00 AM CARAVAN, meet in the motel parking lot and depart
for our motor
tour on the Blue
Ridge Parkway (17 miles of several overlooks and
5 tunnels) on our way to Maggie
Valley, NC.
10:00 AM Arrive at "Wheels Thru Time Motorcycle/Auto Museum"
in Maggie
Valley. This will be a 2-3 hour
museum and lunch stop. (NOTE: for
those not interested in this museum, you
have the option of continuing
on to Asheville where you may want
to visit The Biltmore Estate, go
shopping, etc).
10:00-4:30 PM On your own visiting Wheels Thru Time (or Asheville), have lunch,
shopping, and check-in at host motel, The Apple Blossom Motel,
602 W. State Street, Black Mountain, NC 28711, 828-669-7922.
5:00-8:00 PM "CRUISE-IN-DINNER"! We will meet at Phil's BBQ Pit,
701 NC Hwy. 9, Black Mountain, NC 28711, (828) 669-3606 for an
informal cruise in dinner (possibly with a few local car club guys and
gals.)
